With the developing and popularizing of mobile internet technology, The number of Citizen journalists is getting larger and larger, and participating level in news transmitting has been deepen ceaselessly. Their participation in news transmitting also results in unique developing trace and communication pattern, and greatly influences the new setup of social democracy and constructing News Picture. The Citizen journalists’ spontaneous investigation in South China tiger incident in 2009 sparked widespread concern over society and journalism. The kind of incidents about citizen reporters’ spontaneous investigation has continued to arise in recent years. This paper focuses on the citizen journalists’ spontaneous investigation. Firstly, this paper analyzes its background from the theory basis and the reality. Secondly, encapsulates the basic situation of the citizen journalists’ spontaneous investigation ,with typical cases analyzes to sum up the reasons, ways, features and influences of the spontaneous investigation. Meanwhile, The thesis analyzes the problems , and puts forwards the corresponding strategies. makes the judgment of its trend. This paper in the last makes beneficial explorations about it, for how to construct News Picture better. Through the analysis and study of the Citizen journalists’ spontaneous investigation, the author draws conclusion: spontaneous investigation is a concrete manifestation of citizen journalists deeply involved in news communication.
