三峡大学硕士学位论文 三 峡 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 PAGE IV PAGE IV Abstract Rhetoric is the art that study the using of the law of the language. Learning some rhetoric knowledge can help the middle school students to understand the rules of the rhetoric and improve the language literacy, therefore, rhetoric teaching is not allow to ignore in the Chinese teaching of middle school . However, the importance of rhetoric teaching in middle school is not widely recognized, the rhetoric teaching in middle school still exists a lot of problems, mainly reflected as the biased objective, the fuzzy content and the monotonous method, which hinder the improvement of students language comprehensive quality. Aiming at the current situation, this paper studys the literatures involving the rhetoric teaching,and reconstruct the objective, content and method.of rhetoric teaching. In optimizing the objectives of rhetoric teaching, first,set up the correct view of rhetoric, including understand the rhetoric essence, grasp the rhetoric principles; Second, cognize the rhetoric law, which covers the rhetorical rules, the rhetorical laws, the figure of speech,the rhetorica interest;third, form the literacy of the beautiful words, make students really understand what language is beautiful, not simply play with words, but to pursue the perfect and integrate of the language form and content. In setting rhetoric teaching contents, first, the negative rhetoric and the active rhetoric are both important,we should break the old rhetoric teaching model, extended the original rhetoric teaching content which predominantly in the figure of speech, clear that the negative rhetoric are all should also belong to the rhetoric teaching content; second, oral rhetoric and writing rhetoric are both important, rhetoric is the result of oral communication, in rhetoric teaching, teachers not only keep on attaching importance to writing rhetoric teaching, but also should teach students to master oral rhetoric norms, grasp the char
