When hydraulic cylinder wi也 heavy parts moved to the end of cylinder， the mechanical impact is occurred 企equently. It has a great danger.which notonly interfere the performance ，but also damages the hydraulic cylinder andother elements of the hydraulic system. So the research of cushioning struc阳reof hydraulic cylinder is very impo民ant.In this paper，con民ant orifice，column-shape throttling，groove-shape throttling，taper-shape throttling and pa，rabola-shape throttling cushionings伎uc阳re 町e intensively studied.ηle mathematical summarizes models are established ，and the computer simulation on 句也韶山 characteristics are carried on by the so企ware MATLAB. The analysis .indicate: pressure of the all cushioning structures is greater. Though no hard impact is guaranteed to the all cushioning struc阳res，soft impact exist in starting or ending of cushioning process of the constant orifice，groove shape throttling and parabola-shapethrottling cushioning struc阳re. So these cushioning s位uc阳re are beyond thereach of the best cushioning characteristic .No hard impact is guaranteed to the cushioning s仗时阳res. If soft impact exis飞 It still brings about the mechanical impact. So the best cushioning structure should be simple structure，and its the best cushioning characteristicrequires avoiding hard impacts and cutting down soft impacts (ifnot eliminable) besides the low pressure of cushion chamber.
