AbstractPhaeocystisglobosa(P.globosa)hasbecomeoneofdominantalgaeinPearlRiverEstuaryandbrokenoutfrequentlyinrecentyears,whichhavemadegreatlynegativeeffectsonthemarineecosystemandthenationaleconomy.Consideringthedisadvantagesofphysicalandchemicalmethods,biologicalmethodshavebeenanewresearchhotspotinthefieldofredtidestreatment,especiallyisolationandidentificationofalgicidalbacteriaandalgicidalcompounds.Bacillussp.strainB1waspreviouslyisolatedfromthebloomofP.globosainZhuhai,China.Inthisthesis,therangeandmodeofactionofstainB1,isolationandidentificationofalgicidalcompoundsandalgicidalmechanismswerestudied.Themainresultsasfollows:Bacillussp.strainB1wasabletoeliminateP.globosa,Skeletonemacostatum,ProrocentrumdonghaienseandHeterosigmaakashiwobyexcretingextracellularactivecompounds.WhenthedosageofB1filtratewas4%(VB1filtrate/Valgalculture=1/25),thealgicidaleffectofthefiltratetothefouralgaewas:P.globosa＞S.costatum＞P.donghaiense＞H.akashiwo.Andthealgicidalrateswere92.3%、91.8%、89.4%和84.4%,respectively.TheextracellularactivecompoundsproducedbystrainB1wereisolatedandpurifiedbyODS-AcolumnchromatographyandHPLC.FouralgicidalcompoundswereeventuallyobtainedandtheiralgicidalactivitiestoP.globosawere46.9%,50.3%,55.0%and55.7%respectively.ThefourcompoundswerefurtheranalyzedbyQ-TOF-MSandPeakView?Softwaredeterminedthecompoundscorrespondingtopeaks2-5tobeL-histidine,o-tyrosine,N-acetylhistamineandurocanicacidonthebasisoftheaccuratemassinformation,theisotopicpatternandMS/MSspectra.Thebacteria-freefiltratesfromstrainB1wereisolatedandpurifiedbysilicagelcolumnchromatography,SephadexG-15columnchromatographyandHPLC.Twopurifiedsubstanceswerecollectedandtheiralgicidalrateswere59.5%and54.6%.Thetwocompoundsweredeterminedtobeprolyl-methionineandhypoxanthinebyQ-TOF-MSandPeakViewTMSoftware.ThealgicidalactivityexperimentofalgicidalcompoundsshowedthatL-histidinewasonlytoxictoP.globosa,whileo-tyrosine,N-acetylhistamine,urocanicacid,prolyl-methionineandhypoxanthinecouldinhibitthegrowthofP.globosa,P.donghaiense,H
