APPLICATIONRESEARCHONMETHANOLANDDIESELBLENDEDFUELSINDIESELENGINEABSTRACTTheincreaseinquantityofpossessedvehiclesledstothedepletionofoilresourcesanddeteriorationofenvironment.Seekingalternativefuelsandreducingvehicleexhaustemissionsareofgreatpracticalsignificance.Methanol,asoneofthemostpromisingaltemativefuelsinintemalcombustionengine,cansolvethisproblemcomrnendably.Methanolanddiesel,twosubstancesofoppositepolarity,aredifficultinsolubili可witheachother副commomtemperature,cxceptthefusionofcosolvent.Iso-octanol,asacosolventinthispaper,isusedtomakeupthreedifferentproportionsofmethanol-dieselblendedfuelappliedindieselengineforexperimentalsωdy.1tshowsthatmethanolCanimprovethecombustioninthecylinder,andreduceNOxandsootemissionsatthesametime.However,becauseofitslowheatingvalue,thepowerofdieselenginecannotreachtotheoriginal.Methanolisusedtoreplacedieselfuelasmuchaspossible,whileitmustmaintaintheoriginaldieselengineperformance.ThispaperchoosesM15methanol-dieselblendedfuelandoptimizesthefuelsupplyparameters,tostudytheinfluenceonthedieselengineperformancebydifferentinjectionpressures,fuelsupplyadvanceanglesandfueldelivery.1tshowswhentheinjectionIIIpressureis22.5Mpa,fuelsupplyadvanceangleis140CABTDC,andthefuel/deliveryisincreasedby9.5%,theenginecanbasicallymaintaintheoriginalpowerper岛amance,butthefueleconomyisworsethantheoriginalengine,theernissionsofotherpollutantshaveincreasedexceptsootemission,andNOxemissionsisincreasedby58.5%attheconditonof3200r/minand75%load.Onthebasis,thispapertakesEGRtechnologytoreducetheNOxemissionforfurther,studiestheeffectofdifferentEGRratesondieselperformance,andascertainthebestEGRratesatdi仔erentconditions.ThebestEGRratescanmaintaintheperformanceandeconomyoftheengine,maketheNOxands∞temissionsinaIowerlevel,comparedwith0#diesel.NOxemissionisreducedby62.7%,andsootemissionisreducedby30.8%attheconditionof1200r/minand25%load.Toreducethetimesandcostofexperiment,environmentaladaptabiJityofdieselengineisstudiedinGT-PQWERsoftwarewithM15blended如eltopromoteit.Itsho
