AbstractSincetheadoptionofreformandopening-uppolicyChinashighereducationhasachievedgreatdevelopment,andourcountryischangingfromabigcountrytoapowerfulcountryinhighereducation.Theconstructionofhighschoolteachersteamplaysadecisiveroleinhighereducationdevelopmentandtheteachersevencanberegardedasthelifelineofhighereducation.Butinthecurrentperformanceappraisalsystem,althoughtheefficiencytocompletethetaskofteachingandresearchpapersarecertainpromoted,buttheteacherstressproblemshavebeenwidespread.Thentheseproblemsresultinaseriesofdetrimentaleffects,whichhindereachteachersowndevelopment,thesuccessfulconstructionandtheprogressofhighereducationtosomeextent.Basedonthis,payingattentiontoteacherspressureisanimportantlinkinimplementingthepeople-oriented,istheinevitablerequirementofbuildingaharmoniouscampusinuniversities,andalsotheurgentneedtoimplementnewmanagementprinciple.Thispaperisdividedintofiveparts.Thefirstpartistheintroduction,whichmainlyexpoundsthebackgroundandsignificanceoftheresearchandintroducessomeresearchachievementsaboutperformanceappraisalsystemanduniversityteachers’stress.What’smore,thispartintroducestheresearchmethodofthispaperandthedifficultyandtheinnovationpoints.Thesecondpartdefinestherelevantconceptsandtheoreticalbasisofthispaperinvolved.Thethirdpartdescribestheuniversityteachersanditsvocationalcharacteristicsandsummersuptheperformanceevaluationresultsofcollegesanduniversitiesinourcountryandtheproblemofperformanceappraisalsysteminourcountry,therebyanalyzingthepresentsituationofperformanceappraisalsystem.Theforthpartanalyzesthefactorsthataffectuniversityteacherspressure,pressureperformanceandthenegativeimpactofstressfromthequestionnairetotheThreeGorgesUniversityasanexample.Thefifthpartconstructstheuniversityteachersstressreliefsystembasedontheaboveresearchfromfouraspectsincludingtheperformanceappraisal，theenvironmentofperformanceappraisal,theuniversityteachersownandthesecuritysystemadaptedtotheperformanceappraisal.Keywords:UniversityTeachersStressPerformanceAppr
