Ban Chao takes the approach of “easiness before difficulty, south before north” to master the Western Regions, which brings a hayday for the Eastern Han Dynasty in the management of the Western Regions. The life of Ban Chao,who was a petty official earns not much when entered the army to a noble marquis when returned home, is full of legend.
