complexes with hydrophilic HPEI as core and hydrophobic D1-C16, D1-C8 or D2-C16 as shell. These supramolecular complexes could be used as nanocarriers to efficiently accommodate the hydrophilic anionic guests. Compared with the corresponding nanocarriers with linear shell, those with dendritic shell showed big advantages, such as higher encapsulation capacity, better resistance to the emulsion, high encapsulation capacity using a less amount of polymer and less hydrophobic chains.5.A series of novel water-soluble hyperbranched copolymers were prepared through the anionic ring-opening polymerization of glycidol using different molecular-weight HPEI as the macroinitiator. The polymerization condition and purification method were optimized.
