长句的翻译 第十章 长句的翻译 英语长句的出现是由于句子中含有多个从句，从句与从句之间的关系可能并列或平行，还可能包孕或嵌套。所以，英语长句结构复杂，并列成分多，逻辑层次多，修饰语多，特别是后置定语很长。在翻译长句的过程中，首先要通过句法分析，弄清原句的基本结构，判断句子是简单句、并列句还是复合句，并找出句子的主要成分，弄清主要成分和修饰成分之间的逻辑关系，还常须根据上下文作词义的引申和对指示代词的指代关系做出判断。翻译长句时一般使用下面几种方法： 长句的翻译 一、顺译法 1.
