Abstract The main design is for the second-class road from Meitan to Yuqing in Guizhou Province. The length of this road is3060.59m, and the design of the speed is 60km/h, two lane without the central of separation stip. First, traffic is analysed, find the appropriate technical specifications, to determine the level of roads and design needs of the various parameters; then carried out the road route alignment design, five curves are set in the alignment design ,which set with high. Longitudinal design. four vertical curves are set in Profile Design, in order to meet the balance of excavation and filling, a bridge is set , the Plane and the Design of linear combination of the various meet the requirements well; Then, in cross-sectional design, determine the composition and cross-sectional After the various elements, drawing cross-sectional diagram; then embarked on the subgrade and pavement design, get a reasonable form of subgrade type and pavement structure; and then for the sub-grade and pavement , the design of the road drainage is carried out. Finally, give a brief introduction of the setting of bridge ,as well as the transport facilities.
