(2)An emulsion is a significantly stable suspension of particles of a liquid of a certain size within a second, immiscible liquid. macroemulsions ,microemulsions (3)Based on the nature of the dispersed phase, emulsions can also be classified into three types a) oil-in-water (o/w), b) water-in-oil (w/o), c) oil-in-water-in-oil (o/w/o), water-in-oil –in-water(w/o/w), (4)Distinguishment of the emulsions (鉴定方法) Dilution (稀释法) b) Conductivity measurement(电导法) c) Colouration (染料法) d) Refractive index method(散射指数法) e) Filter paper test (滤纸润湿法) 2.
