School of Atmospheric Science, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou 730000, China Abstract: The macro-micro physical structure of stratiform cloud in different weather systems was analyzed for summer by using the data of airborne particles measuring system from July to August of 2006 and 2007 in Gansu. The observation showed that the structure of particles in the cloud was uneven. In terms of cloud drop- let concentration and spectrum, there were many differences in the three weather systems. In the plateau low trough weather system, the cloud had the characteristics of a high concentration of cloud droplets and high con- centration of ice crystals, so the seedable area was the largest.
