To develop Ss’ basic skill of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The focus in this lesson is reading skills for Ss include predicting, skimming and digesting. Teaching Procedures: Step One: Greetings Have a free talk with Ss and let Ss know what they will have in this class. Step Two: Presentation A video about Zhalong Afer watching the video, ask some questions to help Ss recognize the new words Tourist, count, wetland, wildlife, red-crowned crane, provide, shelter A letter from Sandy Lead Ss to recognize more new words according the broken letter. Endangered, government, rare Lead Ss to read the new words and pay attention to the tone and intonation of the words.
