Learn to describe a process and follow instrutions.
Learn the structures and usages of imperative sentences.
Ⅳ.Teaching aids: A tape recorder; lantern slides; blender; glass; knife;bananas; ice cream and so on.
Ⅴ.Teaching procedures:
StepⅠ Greetings.
StepⅡ. Leading in
①Ask “What fruits do you kown?”
②Present the bananas and ask: “Do you like bananas?” “Do you want to eat them?”
StepⅢ. Presentation
1.①Show the first action: peel the bananas.
②Use the project to teach peel a banana→peel apples.
2.①Act an action: Use the knife to cut up the bananas.
②Teach “cut up the bananas” and “cut up the vegetables”.
3.Teach the new word“blender”.
4.①Act an action: put the bananas into the blender. And then teach students the phrase “put… into”
②Ask students to use the phrase to describe the action“put the bananas and ice cream into the blender.”
5.Act an action“pour the milk into the blender.”to teach the phrase “pour… into…”and then teach the sentence”Pour the milk into the blender.”
6.①Teach the phrase“turn on”
②Let students describe “Turn on the blender.”and”Turn on the TV.”
