《围城》的象征主义手法运用 陈小娟 摘 要 20世纪40年代，国外的象征主义虽然对中国的影响呈下降趋势，但也有一些中国现当代小说创作表现出对象征主义的偏爱。钱钟书先生就是其中之一，他的唯一一部长篇小说《围城》就倾向于象征主义手法的运用。小说的标题就是一个象征，作者在小说中明确指出“爱情、婚姻之事好比一座被围困的城堡，已婚的人处于被围之城里，极力要冲出城去，而未婚的则如攻城的勇士，拼命想冲进城。”爱情、婚姻如此，人们的人生困境又何尝不是这样，人们的一生总是不断地从一座“围城”跳入另一座“围城”，如此循环往复，没有了结局。而象征主义手法在《围城》中的运用主要表现在三个方面，即生活层面的运用、文学层面的运用和哲理层面的运用。 象征主义手法在《围城》中的运用揭示了抗日战争时期的中国人是软弱的、缺乏勇气的、甘守现状、听天由命的，是中国人民劣根性的体现。小说所揭示的深刻意义可以让当代的中国人得到深刻的启发，能让中国人体会小说所要揭露的社会现实，从中认识到自身存在的劣根性，发现自身的缺点和不足，从而自觉地改变自己的行为和思想。小说象征主义手法的运用可以使我国人民在思想素质上得到进一步提高，思想得到进一步的解放。 关键词 围城，象征主义，手法运用 ABSTRACT In the 1940s, overseas symbolism, although the influence assumes the declining trend to China, but also has some China the generation of novel creation to display now to symbolism being partial.Mr. Qian Zhongshu is one of them, his only novel 《Besieged city》favors the symbolism technique utilization.The novel title is a symbol, the author in the novel pointed out explicitly “Love, the marital matter of are just like one castle which sieges, the married person is in is encircled in the city, must flush vigorously goes out of town, but unmarried like attacks a city the brave warrior, goes all out to want to flush enters a city.” Love, marriage so, peoples life difficult position also never is not this, peoples life always unceasingly the “besieged city” plunges into another from one the “besieged city”, so the repeat in cycles, did not have the result.But the symbolism technique the utilization mainly displays in《Besieged city》in three aspects, namely life stratification plane utilization, literature stratification plane utilization and philosophy stratification plane utilization.
