Th is paper, based upon the scalar approach, represents even ts. inter2 nal temporal characteristicswith both temporal and spatial axis tom ake the aspectual structure of the re2 su ltative construction and the concept of telicity clear. The paper reexam ines the relationsh ip between telicity and the resultative construction, and concludes that telicity, as a general property of the resu ltative construction, restricts the aspectual structure of resultative construction whose aspectual properties realizes telicity.
