In the article, the shear contribution of concrete and transverse reinforcement as to cyclic shear numbers and d isp lacem ent ductility level is investigated in detai.l W ith the develop ing of the test the shear contribution of concrete is decreasing, wh ile the shear contribution of transverse reinforcement is increas- ing till columns failure. The shearm echan ism of columnsw ith in yield h inge regions is also researched. A ll of con- clusions can be used for reference of revising the CONCRETE STRUCTURE DESIGN CODE.
