第一章??? 五 口述 1. Self-introduction. Good morning, sir. Let me introduce myself first. My name is liu hu zhen. I was born in 1974 in Jiangsu province xiangshui city yunhe town. I am married and now I have a girl and a lovely son. I graduated from Nantong shipping college in 1994 in marine engineering.(in that time the college is a middle technich school ) . Then I have been working on board as an engineer for about 13 years. Now I am a chief engineer. 2. Your daily work on board I am a chief engineering on board. I like the life on board. Although Onboard ship every time (one day 24 hours ) is all my duty time. My main work is to keep all the equipment in good condition and I should maintain good management in the engine department. I should be able to try to motivate every person under my management by assigning jobs fairly among them. I need to be good in English and language communication. It is important for me to maintain good relationship with the master, the technical superintendent and other personnel from company, first engineer and the chief officer. All crews in the engine department must be in good relationship with the other men. Sometimes I have to do some guide work such as some suspected questions. As my experience the most common problem is the crew didn’t do maintenance word according the instruction mannal and the document of the company ‘s SMS\PMS\CMS. In my spare time, I like listening to the music, the news, sometimes I reading books \stories and poems and doing some exercises. That is my life on board. 3. Watch-keeping in the engine room The engineer in charge of the watch shall be able to service all the machinery. He has to maintain the machinery in good running condition. I am chief engineer on board. I am in charge of all the equipment on the ship. Such as main engine ,the auxiary engine ,the generator ,the steering gear ,the boiler, the pollution prevention equipment ,(the oily water separator, the incinerator, the sewage treatment device
