1. Tail Strike This is an Airbus 340-600. It might be a test aircraft because we can’t see any logo (livery) on the aircraft. This aircraft has suffered Tail Strike. We can see sparks coming from the tail of the aircraft. Tail strike may be caused by the following reasons: 1. Too low speed 2. Severe input/dual input by the pilot, causing the aircraft to pitch at too large an angle. 3. The centre of gravity was situated to far aft of the aircraft. 4. Wind shear or severe crosswind (wind gust) I think the pilot performed this on purpose./deliberately 2. Taxiway Collision The incident happened at Beijing International Airport. A China Southern B777’s starboard side wingtip clipped with the tail (vertical stabilizer) of a China Eastern A321. A tug is in front of the B777. We can see a lot of people are standing at the spot/around the aircraft. Some of them are maintenance staff and some of them may be the investigators. The A321 made a normal pushback while B777 was taxiing behind it. The pilots on B777 didn’t concentrate while taxiing and didn’t notice the movement of A321. ATC also made mistakes, they didn’t remind both aircraft the potential risk of collision. I think the whole incident was caused by human errors. 3. Engine This is a new turbo jet engine. The tail cone is blue. The blue color will gradually disappear after long time use. The engine cowling is open for a maintenance check. A lot of tubes/pipes can be seen inside the engine. There is a ladder under the engine. The aircraft was parked near the hangar. 4. Rolling Out In the picture, we can see a dash-6 from Nepal Airlines that has skidded off the runway. Dash-6 is a small size, twin turbo propeller engine aircraft. It has fallen into a ditch with its nose down. A fire engine/truck and several ground vehicles can be seen beside the aircraft and a lot of people are standing around it.
