Modal dialog box is the dialog box where the users mouse focus or the input cursor will remain on it until a valid closing method is taken. Modeless dialogs do not enforce this feature, and users can switch between the current dialog box and other windows. This article describes how to use the JavaScript language to create the two types of dialog box, control its size and location, change its appearance, and data transfer between dialog boxes. In all of the routines in this article, 2 HTML pages are involved at the hierarchy. We call the first page the caller page, and the second page is called the callee page.
