Methods H ospita-l based case-cont rol study design was used. We selected 30 new cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, 3 0 recurrent patients and 30 ethnically matched healthy controls. We typed the polymorphisms of VDR gene, Taq I and Fo I loci, w it h SNaPshot SNP genotyping techniques. Results Genotype of VDR-ff w as significantly as- sociated w ith suscept ibility to tuberculosis. The OR ( 9 5 % CI) was 6. 53 ( 1. 26-33 . 9) compared w ith FF genot ype ( P = 0 . 03) .
