Method From May 2005 to May 2007, patients with cirrhosis complicated with ascites in our hospital were treated with puncture and drainage. Result The implementation of percutaneous catheter ascites drainage operation and postoperative nursing complications, treatment after remission rate was significantly higher than that before treatment, the decrease of body weight, abdomen circumference, urine volume increased, urinary protein decreased, renal function improved. conclusion Continuous paracentesis is safe and stable, compared with simple drug treatment, comprehensive treatment can improve patients with cirrhosis and refractory ascites treatment effect, shorten the course, reduce the cost, improve the patients and family members of the medical staff satisfaction.
