In exercise of the provisions of section 90 (l) of the Sudan constitution 1998, the President of the Republic, hereby makes the following Provisional Order:
CHAPTER ONE
Preliminary Provisions
Title and Commencement
This provisional order may be cited as”, The Environment Conservation Act 2000”, and shall come into force as from the date of signature.
Repeal and Saving
The Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources Act 1991, shall be repeated, provided that all the regulations and measures taken thereunder shall remain valid, until repealed or amended under the provisions hereof.
Interpretation
In this Act unloss the context otherwise requires:
