Abstract: A novel analysis method based on the history of multi-step stamping is proposed to analyze the structural strength of metal part accurately and reasonably. This proposed method combines multi-step stamping forming and structure analysis together: the metal blank is multi- step stamped simulation using Abaqus/Explicit to obtain the shape (thickness), residual stress of stamped parts firstly and hardening material; then the non-uniform thickness shape and residual stress obtained are used in subsequent structure strength analysis with hardening material using Abaqus/Standard.
