* Figures of Speech 修辞格 I. Simile 明喻 用like, as 或其他词指出连个截然不同的事物 之间的相似之处。 The old man’s hair is as white as snow. 2. O my love’s like a a red, red rose. 3. That man can’t be trusted. He’s as slippery as an eel. 4. The past rises before me like a dream. 5. The fighter is as fearless as a lion in battle. 6. Wrong ideas may harm man just like diseases. 7.
