From the mode of thinking to see the value orientation of curriculum reform Abstract: From a logical, operations, art (emotion), four kinds of interaction patterns of thinking of thinking, called “systems thinking.” Application of “systems thinking” approach, the authors re-interpretation of Confucius’s “text, line, loyalty, the letter”; re-interpretation of the internationally recognized “educational philosophy” and education “four pillars”; re-interpretation of the teaching and learning mode ; re-interpretation of the “whole-brain model” and “multiple intelligences”; analysis of four kinds of educational value orientation, value orientation of curriculum reform, from the logic, operations, emotional, communication four kinds of thinking, systematic analysis and theoretical understanding. Keywords: thinking patterns; systems thinking; curriculum reform; value orientation Abstract: Systematic thinking refers to thinking from those four thinking models of logic, operation, art (feeling) and interchange. By using the methodology of systematic thinking, the author gives a new interpretation on some concepts and philosophy about education, which involve the ideas of confucius’ philosophy of “knowledge, action, loyalty and fath”; the internationally recognized educational philosophy and the four pillars of education; the teaching and learning model; the whole-brain model and multi-intelligence. The author again analyzes the four value orientations of education so as to give a systematic analysis and theoretical explanation of the value orientation of curriculum reform from the four kinds of thinking models of logic, operation, feeling and interchange.
