F rom fundamental study through technological application, nanomate- rials have garnered unprecedented attention due to their strikingly different properties at nanolevel dimensions as com- pared to the nature of its bulk counterpart. Further, the complex structural varieties en- hance additional functionalities in various species of nanomaterials like nanowires, nanoparticles, nanocrystals, nanorods, nanocubes, nanoflowers etc. since the size, shape, and morphological features influ- ence the electrochemical and physical properties of nanostructures.1 Controlled execution of these features makes any ma- terial an attractive and promising building block for advanced technological applica- tions. Therefore, it is very challenging and important to have complete control over the size distribution, the shape evolution, and the crystalline structure of the materi- als.
