Department of Endocrinology , the First People s Hospital of Chongqi吨， Chongqing 4∞011 ， China) Abstract: Biomedical model has been transformed into biological-psychological-social model , which makes the ωciety have new requirements for the quality of Chinese medicine talents and higher education for Chinese medicine talents. 白lis paper analyzes the deficiencies in high-level Chinese medicine personnel training. It proposes that under the modern medical model , training undergraduate students of Chinese medicine should pay attention to laying a solid and broad foundation for later-stage training of master s and doctor s degree candidates. The university should strengthen the development of courses with progressive , pioneering and hu- manities features. Mentor system and other methods should be adopted in the later stage to strengthen excellent students innovative ability and critical thinking as well as help students improve all-round development of professional knowledge , practical operation ability and comprehensive quality.
