This paper attempts to expound the types of group work, the advantages of group work and the possible problems arising from group work, and some tactics and suggestions in using the technique in order to help the teacher try to enhance the advantages of group work and solve the problems more properly and more efficiently. This paper mainly explores the group work in secondary school English teaching.
