English writing training 教学设计 Teaching aims:Use an outline to write a composition. Teaching important points: Train students’ writing ability by using an outline. Teach students to use the linking words,good sentence patterns and some sayings while writing. Examine the topic according to the given information. Teaching methods:Group discussion Teaching procedures: Step1:Greeting and lead-in Show the picture and have Ss use more words and sentences to describe what they think of English? Have Ss use the given or different sentence patterns to make up sentences.(Easy or more complex ones) English is…/English is so …that…/Learning English is…/If… One of the most important languages is… (通过问答，让学生运用所学语言知识，准确、恰当地表达自己对学习英语的观点和看法。) Step2:Appreciate and analyze composition one and two. Have Ss in group go over the compositions quickly,then discuss which composition is better. Have Ss find out why the second is better.(Say the differences one by one) Analyze the second composition and have Sslearn that a complete composition consists o three parts,they are beginning,main part and ending.
