CET-4 On Flat Sharing It is reported that there are more and more people sharing flat with two or three more persons, ever eight or nine, in some big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and so on. So what is the reason about the phenomenon? Personally speaking, there are two main aspects should responsible for it. Firstly, the price of house goes higher and higher day by day. And it is not easy for the commons to afford an apartment in the cities. Secondly, most people sharing the flat with others are those who just graduated from the university. They neither have enough money to afford the house nor can take money from their parents. Surely, one coin has two sides. Flat sharing can help them decrease the rent but also some problem that are who pays for what, and in what proportion. In my eyes, that is nothing as ling as you deal with it kindly and fairly. Will Phone Kill Letter Writing? Nowadays, young people choose to phone each other rather than letters. So there is a hot topic: will phone kill letter writing? Some people hold the view that phone can not kill letter writing. They think the letter can express the subtle feeling that can’t speak out directly. And it can be kept as a good of money. While others prefer the phone to letter. Because of the convenience of save time using phone, they seldom write letter to communicate. It is hard to say which one is right. In my view, phones will never kill letter writing. Letter writing is more formal and authoritative in some way. For example, a letter of an application. So letter writing will absolutely survive and even thrive in the Information Age. My Idea of a University Arts Festival It is so good that art festival is to be held nest semester. I suggest there should be English opera performance composed and acted by the students themselves. Of course there are many benefits of this, but generally they come down to two major ones. For one thing, these activities can demonstrate students’ English abilities. The operas
