Ⅲ.Teaching procedures Step1. Warm up 1. At first, play a small piece of video for the class, let them understand what the topic of the unit is. 2. At second, introduce myself to the class, let them know me well. Step2. Lead-in 1.Ask the class:揇o you know how much I like sports? .I like playing basketball very much. But I don’t have a basketball. Do you have a basketball? What shall I do? First let’s know some kinds of balls…… 2. Show some pictures about some balls on the screen, and begin our new lesson. Step3. Study new words (1a) According to the pictures on the screen, teach the new words, and we can use some different interesting ways to let the students grasp the new words. Let them do 1a together and then grasp the new words farther. Step4.Presentation 1. Facing all the students and say: “I like playing basketball very much, but I don’t have a basketball,” 2. Point to a student and ask: “Do you have a basketball?” 3. Help the student to answer: “Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.” and explain “Do you have a ……?Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. Step5. Practice 1. Fill in the blanks: (1)A: Do you have a _________? B: Yes, I do. (2)A: ____you _____a _________? B: No, I don’t. (3)A:_______ you ______ a ________ and a ______? B: No, ________. Step6. Listening (1b) Play the tape twice. For the first time, the class can listen and circle the word they hear. For the second time, they can listen and fill in the blanks. Step7.
