The ammoni a gas was provided into the aqueous ammonia through a single orifice. The maximum bubble volume, the maximum absorption height, bubble frequency and Sherwood number during the absorption process with orifice diameter at 5mm and 6mm were measured, and the ex perimental correction formulations about the maximum volume, the maximum height and the Sherwood numbers were obtained. It was clarified that increase of the orifice diameter result in the increase of the maximum volume and the maximum absorption height, however, it result in the decrease of the bubble frequency and the Sherwood number.
