Abstract:The liquefied ammonia is a aw mate ial which is in common use in the chemical plant.Since the leakage in-
cidents of the liquid ammonia a e f equent eve y yea , liquefied ammonia is a high-dange ous mate ial.It will cause the
disast ous consequence if the leakage occu s.The mathematic model of elease and dispe sion p ocess in liquefied ammo-
nia leakage incidents is discussed in this pape .Validation of this model is made to simulate the leakage of a tank fo liq-
uefied ammonia in the Chemical Pa k in some city .And the esult indicates that we could have a gene al idea on the
scope of a ce tain leakage fo the liquified ammonia by using this model.It dese ves to be a guide fo making the eme -
gency plan fo a facto y, and safety p e-assessment fo a new p oject as well.
