浙江大学坝上学位论文Abstract 浙江大学坝上学位论文 Abstract Urban planning oriented 3D spatial information system(SIS)is a professional 3D—SIS whose main application field is urban planning．This paper presents a professional solution targeted at urban planning based on the common franework of SIS． This paper summarizes the concept of SIS，3D—SIS and urban planning etc，It focuses 013．the introduction of three subsystems，which are about the retrieval and management of 3D spatial information and city simulation based on 3D spatial information respectively．In order to retrieve the 3D spatial information rapidly and accurately,we adopt the related software developed by ourselves which is built 011 the technologies of 3D shaping based 011 the modification of polygon topologies， image-based modeling and landform texture modeling．In the aspect of spatial information management，the data structure is implemented according tO the node structure of VRML which is stored in all object-relation mixed mode and accessed by the spatial octree indices．The city simulation subsystem is built on the 3D spatial information and can be used as a virtual simulation environment for the appraisal of urban layout design scheme．It can also provide related solutions to the problems in urban planning．Besides the above three subsystems，this paper also proposes methods to the visualization of huge data and rendering of shadows in urban planning． Key Words：3D—SIS，spatial data index，scenes，urban planning，simulation 浙江人学硕十‘学位论文第一章引言 浙江人学硕十‘学位论文 第一章引言 §1．1空间信息系统(sis)介绍 空间信息系统(Spatial Infornlation System，SIS)是研究。j空间位置信息相关的 系统，空间信息系统基于计算机技术和网络通信技术的解决与窄间信息有关的数 据获取、存储、传输、管理、分析与应用等问题的信息系统。空间信，亩、系统的典 型代表是人们熟悉得地理信息系统(GIS)，地理信息系统是以地球表面作为参照框 架，而在实际系统中，地球坐标并不是唯一的参照坐标系，任何一个系统都刈‘以 自身相对坐标系作为空间信息系统的参照系。因此SIS是一个LLGIS更为广泛的概 念，具有与GIS相同的功能部件(functional components)，但是能处理的数据和能解 决的问题要广泛的多，适用的领域更为广泛，如：多媒体信息、CAD／CAM、城市 建设规划、天文学、分子生物学等领域。由于近年来，人们在GIS方面做了大量的 研究工作，GIS的发展已经比较成熟，因此，本文中多处以G1S为例来说明SIS。 SIS与一般信息系统最大的区别在于，它不仅能够存储、分析和表达现实世界 的各个对象的属性信息，而且能够处
