Warming up by listening and reading aloud Language is created to be listened to and spoken first. So open your book to page 23 and read it aloud while listening to the recording. Watch your pauses between the thought groups. II. Reading for forms Read the text again to: cut/ the sentence into thought groups, blacken the predicates, darken the connectives and underline all the useful expressions. III. Copying and making sentences You are asked to copy all the underlined expressions into your notebook after class as homework. You may make your own sentences with these expressions.
