Then in accordancew ith the deficiencies in these methods and the research on low cycle fatigue behaviour of steel braces, the feasible mi provement is proposed. A f ter analyzing several key problems in the present research of concentrically braced fram e w ith moment resisting frame dual systems, several differences and insufficiencies in the design provisions about dual systems in the Tech n ical Specification forSteelStructure ofTallBuildings ( JGJ99- 98) and relative codes are indicated. The proposa,l by means of response characteristics smi u lation of dual system under the strong earthquake groundmotions to seek unity of cognition, is also suggested.
