万方数据 万方数据 Study on Effects of Laparoscopic Surgery and Open Dixon Surgery for Rectal Cancer on Postoperative Urinary Function of Patients Major: General Surgery Postgraduate：MA Bin-yu Supervisor：YAN Deng-guo ZHANG Zhong-min [Abstract] Objective: To compare the influences of two kinds of surgical procedures on postoperative urinary function of patients with low rectal cancer by laparoscopic and traditional low anterior resection (LAR) of rectal cancer; to discuss the advantage of laparoscopic LAR on patients’ postoperative urinary function, and the safety, suitability and superiority of laparoscopic technique in fast track surgery of rectal cancer. Methods: 30 patients who were undergone laparoscopic LAR were selected from rectal cancer patients from January 2013 to December 2013 as the experimental group (LS group); 30 patients who were undergone traditional LAR at the same period with matching age, gender, tumor stage and BMI indexes, etc. were selected as the control group (OS group); the two groups of patients were compared for postoperative recovery period, influences on urinary function and treatment satisfaction. Results: 1. Laparoscope had advantages including less intraoperative blood loss and short hospitalization time compared to laparotomy group and the differences were of statistical significance (p0.05); and there were no statistically significant differences between groups in operation time and quantity of lymph node dissection (p0.05). 2. Laparoscope was better than laparotomy in postoperative daily urine output, time of urinary catheter removal and time for micturition desire, etc. And there were also statistically significant differences in urine volume at postoperative 3 d (p0.05), the incidence of urinary retention (p0.05), and urinary tract infection (p0.01). Laparoscopic group had more urine and smaller risk of urinary retention and urinary tract infection. There were no statistically significant differences in time of urinary catheter removal,
