Introduction Purpose of this document is to provide recommendations for establishing a more effective aid coordination mechanism in Serbia, including proposed model and key steps for its introduction. It is expected that such a model would contribute to improved aid effectiveness- strengthened national ownership and alignment, improved accountability as well as increased efficiency in use of administrative capacities for aid coordination. While significant progress has been made in developing aid coordination systems and tools, aligned with national planning and budgeting processes, there is still a need to improve the efficiency of dialogue with development partners on different levels and in various sectors, particularly having in mind that there is a large number of stakeholders involved.
