importantfunctions.Nevertheless,theexactrolesplayedbyIBPinSACCremainunclear.Inourstudy,forthefirsttime,weinvestigatedtherelationshipbetweenIBPexpressionandclinicopathologicalcharacteristicsinSACCandnormalsaliarygland.Furthermore,weestablishedIBP-overexpressingstablecelllineandinvestigatedtheeffectofIBPinSACCcellsinvitro.Methodsandresults：TheResearchofIBPExpressioninSACCandnormalsaliaryglandanditsClinicalSignificance①WeexaminedIBPexpressionintwoSACCcelllines,ACC2andACCM,byWesternBlot.TheresultsshowthatthereisnegativeexpressionofIBPinACC2andACCM.②Wecollected27casesofSACCparaffinspecimensand20casesofnormalsaliaryglandtissuesspecimens,throughtheimmunohistochemistytoinvestigatetheexpressionofIBPinclinicalsamples,andtodeterminetheclinicalsignificancebystatisticalanalysisbetweenIBPexpressionandotherpathologicalindexes.TheresultindicatedthatonlythreecasesofweakpositiveIBPgeneexpressionin27casesofSACC,theotherexpressnegative;IBPwasexpressedstronglyinall20casesofnormalsaliaryglandtissues,thereexistsignificantdifferences（P0.05）.ButtheexpressionofIBPwerenotsignificantlyrelatedtopatient’sage,genderandtumorsite（P0.05）.TheStudyofIBPFunctionandMechanisminSACC①TheconstructionofIBPover-expressionmodelbyplasmidtransfectionwasbasedonIBPnegativeexpressioncellline-ACC2.ItwasconfirmedthatwehadgottenstablecelllinesofIBPover-expressionbyWesternBlot.②TheMTTassaywasusedtodeterminetheeffectsofIBPoncellproliferationineachgroup.InourstudywefoundthatIBPcaninhibittheproliferationofSACCcells.③PlatecolonyformationassaywasusedtodeterminetheeffectsofIBPoncellgrowthinSACCcells.ItwasshownthatoverexpressionofIBPcaninhibittheabilityofcolonyformationofSACCcells.④Theabilityofcellinvasionwasbasedonanalysisofstained-cellspenetratingstudybyTranswellexperimentstodeterminetheeffectsofIBPontheabilityofcellinvasion;theresultshowedthatIBPcanpromoteSACCcellsinvasion.⑤ToobservetheinfluenceofIBPonSACCcellsresistingtotaxolwhichiscommonlyusedinclinicaltreatmentofSACC;theresultindicatedthatIBPcanresisttotaxoltoacertainde
