AbstractWith the rapid growth of Internet, the copyright protection of digital multimedia products turns to an important issue. At the same time, traditional encryption methods based on cryptography appeared to be inadequate. Under such conditions, digital watermarking emerged. As an effective technique for protecting the copyrights of digital works, the copyright information---digital watermark is embedded into digital products to verify their ownerships. The embedded watermark information is usually invisible or imperceptible. However, a detector can be used to extract it or determine its existence. This technique can be traced back to as far as early 1990’s. Since then, it has become a hot spot in research of multimedia information security. The Ridgelets, as a new multiscale analysis method for image representation, has a sparse expansion for line singularities.This paper addresses research of image digital watermark algorithm based on Ridgelet domain. The main tasks are summarized as follows:Have a comprehensive understanding of digital watermarking technology. Master the basic theory of digital watermarking, realize its basic framework, character and classification, also the method of attack and performance evaluation.Make a study of Arnold disorder, and carry out an example of a 64×64 binary image in the computer.Mastery of Ridgelet transform, including the background of the Ridgelet theory, the definition of the continuous Ridgelet transform, the definition of finite Ridgelet transform and its realization process, and analyze the speciality of Ridgelet transform.Design and realize a self-adapt and blind testing digital watermark algorithm based on Ridgelet transform. Raise a method to divide the image characteristics by the FRIT coefficient matrix of the image, and then embed the watermark self-adapt based on the different image characteristic blocks.Have a detailed test of the capability of the algorithm..And analyze the testing results.Keywords:Digital Wat
