中国农业大学人文与发展学院外语系教案 课程名称：汉英翻译 单元主题：词性转换 任课教师：赵挺 授课班级：英语071/072 Conversion 概述 从理论上说，翻译中的词性转换现象是没有限制的，比如说，名词可以转换成动词、形容词、副词，动词可以转换成名词、形容词、副词等等不一而足。但是在实践中，英汉语的转换也有一定规律，就是英语多用名词和介词而汉语多用动词。因此在英汉翻译中，词性转换比较多地表现为名词介词变为动词，如 他站在那里，嘴里叼着烟斗，手里拿着帽子。 He was standing there with a pipe in his mouth and a hat in his hand. 这孩子不太听话 The child is somewhat disobedient. 谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。 Every grain of food on a tray comes from toiling labor. 绝对不许违反这个原则。 a)This principle should not be violated at all. b)No violation of this principle can be tolerated. 大势已去 a)the situation was hopeless b)everything was lost. 这种人闹什么东西呢？闹名誉、闹地位、闹出风头。 a)What are these people struggling for? They struggle for fame, status and limelight. b)What are these people after?
