AbstractBased on field survey of a village in Dunhuang oasis, by interview, observation, questionnaire and literature, relationalism route that is attempt to accede opposition between structure and action, this auricle explain under the background of village governance how local government, village organization, village elite and ordinary villagers to affect together village governance, then shape certain village governance structure.Initially, this article introduces contemporary overview and governance changes of village D, and analysis public organization system. Further, the governance structure of village D is studied:Local government, village organizations, village elite and ordinary villagers contribute to the governance structure of village D, which is reproduced repeatedly by those governance subjects in rational age.Local government and cadres of village organizations, format mutual dependence relationship, is strong force in village governance. The actual Operatives is an union in-village elite, it is a tool of getting resources from higher goverment, adds peasants’ income, however, fail to facilitate widespread famers’ cooperation, village social link, and village public governance. Village elite, an important governance subject, isn’t a homogeneous group. Sectional in-village economic elites impose increasing impact on village governance by joining Operatives, becoming cadres; however, fail to alter contemporary village power structure.
