proliferationand differentiation ofnormal cell.But itsinadequacy activation hasarelationshipwithmanytumors.ThecorrelationofCOX-2andHer-2/neuingastriccarcinomatissueshasalessresearch.Inourstudy,theexpressionofCOX-2proteinandHer-2/neuproteinsweredetectedbyimmunohistochemistryingastriccarcinoma,toexplorethecorrelationbetweenCOX-2andHer-2/neuandtheirclinicalmeanings.To findtheireffectiontoprognosisofgastriccarcinoma.Objective:Tostudythecorrelationofcyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)andHer-2/neuingastriccarcinomaandtheirrelationshipwithclinicopathologicfeatures.Tofindtheireffectiontoprognosisofgastriccarcinoma.Methods:TheexpressionofCOX-2andHer-2/neuin419casesofgastriccarcinomawasdetectedbyimmunohistochemicaltechnique.TheresultswereanalysedbySPSS 13. 0.Results:In419casesofgastriccarcinomathepositiverateofCOX-2was66.35%（278/419）,NocorrelationwasfoundbetweenincreasedCOX-2andthetumorsize, diferentiation,lymphnodemetastasis,clinicalstage,distantmetastasisanddepthof invasion ofgastric carcinoma( P0.05).Its expression wascorrelated with survivaltime(P0.05).ThepositiverateofHer-2/neuwas13.6%（57/419）.Her-2/neuexpressionwascorrelatedwithdiferentiationandsurvivaltime.(P0.05).Nocorrelationwasfound betweenincreasedHer-2/neuandthetumorsize,lymphnodemetastasis,clinicalstage,distantmetastasisanddepthofinvasionofgastriccarcinoma(P0.05).TheexpressionofHer-2/neuwassignificantlycorrelatedwithCOX-2(P0.025).
