ThePreparationofASA/SAN Alloyand Application inProductionofPVCResinTileAbstractASAresinisternarygraftcopolymerpreparedbythereactionofacrylonitrile,styrene andacrylate.Ithasexcellentweatherresistanceandcanbewildlyusedas high-performanceplastics becausethereis no doubleband in ASArubber’smolecular chain. ASAandPVCresinwassqueezedouttogethersothatthesectionandpanelofgood weatherresistanceandbeautifulappearancewasobtained.Inthispaper,SANwasmixedin ASAtofabricatetheASA/SANalloy.Themechanics,mobility,thermaldeformation, thermaldegradationkinetic,ultravioletresistanceperformanceofthealloywere investigated.Theindustrialproductionlineandtechnologicalparameterwasstudiedto demonstratethepossibilityofASA/SAN alloyused in theindustrialized production.ASA/SANalloywasfabricatedbymechanicalblendingmethod.Itwasfoundthatwith theincreaseofthecontentofSANimpactstrengthwasreduced,whiletensilestrength, bendingstrength,bendingmodulus,meltflowrate,vicatsofteningpointwasenhanced. ComparedwithintrinsicASA,whentheratioofSANinthealloywasreachedto40%, impactstrengthwasreducedby75%andtensilestrength,bendingstrengthandbending modulusincreasedby27%,30%,25%,respectively.Inthesameway,meltflowratewas40.13g/10min,increasedby62%,vicatsofteningpointimprovedby13%.Theresearch showedthatASAandASA/SANalloyarenon-newtonianfluid.Whentheshearingrate wasincreased,thefluidapparentviscosityofintrinsicASAandASA/SANalloywas reduced,indicatingthinshearchangebehavior.WiththeincreaseofthecontentofSAN, Newtonindexandviscositywasdiminished,whiletheNewtonpropertyoffluidandthe processperformancewasimproved.BasedonKissingerequationandFlynn-Wall-Ozawa equation,thevaluesofthermaldecompositionactivationenergyEandpre-exponential factorlgAofASA/SANalloywaslowerthanthatofintrinsicASA,showingthatSANcan reducethethermalstabilityofthealloy.TheASA/SANalloy wastreated by UVirradiation for1000h,thecolorwasnotchanged,andthisisingoodagreementwiththeresultof intrinsic ASA.Afterthelaboratorialexperimentandindustrializationamplificationint
