Step 1 :Lead-in
Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. This
is my first lesson for you. So I feel very excited. My
daughter also wants to be here with me, but she can’t ,
you know. She asked me to say “Hello” to you. (Show
a photo of my daughter) What do you say to
her?( Hello, nice to meet you. ) Do you want to know
her name?
How do you ask? ( What’s your name/May I know your
name? ) She’s telling you: My name’s Lucy. How do
you do? How do you greet her? ( How do you do? )
Do you want to know my name?
My name is“Apple”,an English name, of course. Do
you (all)like apples? Thank you very much I’m very glad to hear that. Do you have English names? Hello, boy, you’re Apple, right? Maybe you are Banana, right? Then what’s your English name? En, how are you?
Step 2: Listening
Look at the screen. What are they doing? They are talking/greeting each other. What do they say?(Does Lily say: How are you? Or Are you fine today? What about Nick?) Now, listen and tick.
