synthesized and characterized.
• [C -3-C im]Br with longer alkyl

chain length had lower cmc.
• They showed different micellization
process within 293.15–313.15 K.
• The micropolarity, Nagg of micelles
decreased with alkyl chain length
increasing.
• The aggregation size of [C12-3-
C12im]Br2 was distributed in a wide
range.
