until 用法解读 词性分析 基本用法 特殊用法：强调句型、倒装 辨析until 与 till / before 高考拾萃 词义：直到（Up to a specil time or up to the time of a specil event.） 介词（prep.） 连词（conj） He will be working until 5 oclock. 他将一直工作到五点钟。 He ran until he was breathless. 他一直跑到气喘吁吁才停下。 肯定句（延续性动词）+until+名词或句子。 I waited for him until 12 o’clock. I will wait until he returns. 我一直等他回来. 否定句（瞬间动词）+until+名词或句子. My mother didnt know it until I told her. I wont leave until 12 oclock. 结构：It is/was not until +从句/表时间词语+that +肯定句.（not-until-强调句型） 例句： It was not until the teacher came in that the students stopped talking. 老师进来学生们才停止讲话。 It is not until next week that the sports meet will be held. 下周才开运动会。 结构：Not until ...+助动词+主语+谓语+... （当Not until位于句首时,句子才倒装。） 例句： Not until the teacher came in did the students stop talking. 老师进来学生们才停止讲话。 Not until next week will the sports meet be held. 下周才开运动会。 Until可用于句首，而till通常不用于句首。 Until you told me, I had heard nothing of what happened.?????? I had heard nothing of what happened until / till you told me. 肯定句 否定句 I will not leave until he comes. (不能用till) 可互换:主句含有 例句: The students wont go home until / before they finish their homework. 学生们要先完成作业才能回家。 The woman worked in the factory until/before 1990. 1990年以前这妇女在这家工厂上班。 不可互换:主句含有肯定瞬间性谓语动词时,只能用before不能用until,且before意为没来得及…或…才… 例句: Einstein almost knocked me down before he saw me. 爱因斯坦差不多将我撞倒才看见了我。 He had measured me before I could get in a word. 我还没来得及插话,他就把我的尺寸量好了。 I wont believe you____ I have seen it with my own eyes.
