Given the framework of “cultivating tourism industry to strategic pillar industry and modern service industry”, hundreds of intellectual personnel should be the strong background force for the wise development of tourism. College schools should closely meet the needs of the industry, strengthen the cultivation at different levels, orient specifically and pursue a characteristic way of development. View the intellectual service as a crucial direction for cultivating tourism talents. Based on the in-depth study of tourism personnel’s needs, strengthen the cultivation of major way of thinking, knowledge and skills, explore the cultivation patterns of “renovate the old products, create new ideas and start new business”, and initiate new patterns between teaching and practicing are the proper methods to cultivate tourism intellectual talents.
