T roop No. 5131 ofPLA, Guigang 530320, China) Abstract: A diesel exhaust aftertreatment system using infrared regeneration techn ique is designed. The filter set is doubled laid. The characteristics of infrared regeneration are investigated on a 6110A diesel engine. The resu lt show s that the particu latem ass and exhaust volume for regeneration influence the in ternal peak and average temperature of DPF during regeneration process and the w arm ingup tmi e and pow er of the infrared rad iator influence the regeneration tmi e. The expermi ent data also ind icates that the average regeneration efficiency is over 80%. The DPF system has smi ple structure, h igh reliab ility and good applicability.
